Arena Treptow

The Treptow Arena (pronounced [tʁɛptoː], with a silent w) (also Arena Berlin) is an indoor hall, that hosts concerts, parties and special events, such as car presentations. It can hold up to 7,500.
It is located in Berlin, Treptow next to the Spree.

On 27-09-1996 Rammstein played here the legendary “100 Jahre Rammstein” concert.
It was played two days after the one year anniversary of the release of the band’s debut album Herzeleid, and, without counting the label showcases and TV performances, this was the 100th Rammstein show within the Herzeleid Tour.

The full concert was released in 1996 on a VHS tape as a Christmas gift for Fanarea members.

The live footage seen in the video for the song Rammstein, was shot during this “100 Jahre Rammstein” concert mentioned above. Other footage in the video is from the movie Lost Highway.

Mein Teil video:

On 2 & 3 June 2004 the video for the song Mein Teil was shot.
The outdoor parts were shot near U-Bahnhof Deutsche Oper and the indoor parts were shot at Arena Treptow.
Zoran Bihać was the director during this shoot.
