Olympiastadion

The Olympiastadion is a sports stadium at Olympiapark Berlin in the district Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf.
It was originally built by Werner March for the 1936 Summer Olympics. During the Olympics, the record attendance was thought to be over 100,000. Today the stadium is part of the Olympiapark Berlin.

Since renovations in 2004, the Olympiastadion has a permanent capacity of 74,475 seats and is the largest stadium in Germany for international football matches. The Olympiastadion is a UEFA category four stadium and one of the world’s most prestigious venues for sporting and entertainment events.

On 22 june 2019, Rammstein played their first ever live show at the Olympiastadion, as part of their 2019 European Stadium Tour.
In 2020 a second leg of that tour would have followed with 2 shows in Berlin on 4 & 5 july 2020. But thanks to covid-19, these shows (and the full tour) had to be postponed twice. First to 2021 and another time to 2022.
The last confirmed dates are on 4 & 5 june 2022.
