Kesselhaus @ Kulturbrauerei

The Berlin Kulturbrauerei is a 25,000 square metres (270,000 sq ft) building complex in Berlin, Germany in the Prenzlauer Berg district close to the Eberswalder Straße U-Bahn station.
Originally built and operated as a brewery, its courtyards and unique architecture have been protected as a monument since 1974 and it is one of the few well-preserved examples of industrial architecture in Berlin dating from the end of the 19th century.
The multi-purpose venue provides a concertstage, cinemas, theatres, clubs and function rooms.

On 25 & 26 februari 1994 the Metrobeat festival was held at the Kesselhaus stage of the Kulturbrauerei. On one of these dates Till, Richard, Schneider and Olli played their first live show together as a band.
Paul and Flake were not in the band yet, but joined later that year

On this showcase festival for young and inexperienced bands they probably played under the name of Tempelprayers and sung their songs in English.
The four guys won this festival and got a week of studio time in a professional recording studio.
Shortly after this festival the band changed their name to Rammstein, Paul and Flake joined the band and they started writing songs in German language.

The rest is history!!
