Zwinglikirche Berlin

The Zwingli Church is a church in the Berlin district of Friedrichshain . The listed church is located in the Rudolfkiez , which also includes the Oberbaum City (former site of a light bulb factory). The church belongs to the Evangelical Parish Boxhagen – Stralau the parish of Berlin Stadtmitte , it is used by the KulturRaum Zwingli-Kirche association for cultural events and exhibitions.

At the end of the 19th century, south of the railway site on Warschauer Strasse the new Rudolfplatz was laid out . On December 2, 1900, a small wooden chapel was consecrated on its south side.
Construction for this church began on September 11, 1905, and the foundation stone was laid on April 29, 1906. The inauguration took place on February 9, 1908. The wooden chapel was used until 1907, then dismantled and used until 1912 in the cemetery Ahrensfelde east , where there is a separate burial ground for members of the Zwingli community. In 1928 a parish hall in late Expressionist forms was added to the church building on Rudolfstrasse.

Zeig Dich video:

Around the time of the videoshoot for the Deutschland video, which has parts that were shot at the Kloster Chorin, rumors appeared online saying the video for the song “Zeig Dich” has been shot at this kloster too around the same time.
But those rumors where only partly true, because the “Zeig Dich” video was only shot in the Zwinglikirche and the Zitadelle Spandau were also parts of the Deutschland video were shot.

Some interesting behind the scenes shot appeared on the instagram pages from both director Jonas Akerlund and Rammstein, including lots of nuns. Could this be for the new Zeig Dich video?

The actress Pia Hemstedt reveals in an interview that there will also be a music video for “Zeig Dich”!

According to Lifad Chili, the video for Zeig Dich was cancelled, because the band didn’t like the result.
