After Rammstein had to leave their rehearsal and tryout space at the
former Knaack Club, they ended up at Black Box Music in northern Berlin.
This company provides artist with all kind of equipment to setup a live
show, but they have also large rooms where they can give a tryout show
for a select amount of people.
They first tryout shows were given on october 27th, 29th and 31st,
2009 as a start for the Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da tour. And these shows were
exclusive for LIFAD members (The official fanclub) and
webmasters/admins of Rammstein fansites.
The second time Rammstein did some tryout shows at Black Box Music was
on 27th, 29th and 31st october 2011 to start the Made In Germany tour.
And these shows where also exclusive for LIFAD members and
webmasters/admins of Rammstein fansites.
The band did another tryout show for the start of the second part of the
Made In Germany tour. This show was held on april 8th 2013.
I was lucky enough to be present at 2 of these tryout shows in 2011 and 2013.
Rammstein did also a performance shoot for the Ich Tu Dir Weh video at this location. The video was directed by Jonas Akerlund and premiered at December 21st, 2009.
